Jim believes it's his responsibility to negotiate the best outcome for his clients, he shuns the opportunity to add to his income by representing both sides in a transaction. It's simply not possible to get the best price and terms for two parties with opposite goals. Jim does represent both buyers and sellers – but never both sides in the same transaction.
Innovation and technology are in Jim’s blood, and that shows in his marketing. His father A.W. Haydon was an inventor and businessman who held many patents, several of which are various museums such as the Smithsonian Institution and the National Air and Space Museum.
Jim was recently asked to be a Tech Advisor for the Long Island Board of Realtors. and is also one of the Top 10 Agents to follow on Instagram.
Jim and his wife Laura are active in the animal rescue community, donating to Paws of War and Guardians of Rescue. They live in Smithtown with their three dogs Maddie, Ronnie, and Toby.
