1. Museum Adventure Activity: Secrets & Spies

Step into the world of spies and secrets with Secrets & Spies, an exciting museum adventure activity that takes you back to the American Revolution! Follow in the footsteps of Long Island’s daring Culper Spy Ring as you search for hidden messages, crack historical ciphers, and collect clues throughout the museum. Complete your mission and earn a junior spy kit for your own covert operations! Admission is $5 for members and $10 for participants. This event is part of the Liberty at Sea series, a year-long program commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
2. Adventure Race
When: Saturday, August 1st at 8 AM
Where: Kings Park, NY
Join the Long Island Orienteering Club for their second annual Adventure Race, featuring kayaking, biking, and trekking through the Nissequogue River, Sunken Meadow Park, and Nissequogue River Park. Participants can choose the full adventure race or a shorter experience with kayaking at 8 AM or biking and trekking starting between 9 AM and 12 PM, with all activities finishing by 2 PM. Advance registration is required, and there will be no day-of entry. Admission is $5 for members plus a $10 participant fee. This event is part of the “Liberty at Sea” series, a year-long program commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
3. Fine Art, Crafts & Antiques Fair
When: Saturday, August 1st at 9 AM
Where: Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council, 27230 Main Road, Cutchogue, NY
Join us for the Fine Art, Crafts & Antique Fair, sponsored by the Old Town Arts & Crafts Guild! Browse a wonderful selection of paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, handmade crafts, collectibles, and more. The fair also features the Young Artists' Exhibit and a large raffle with art donated by Guild members and gift certificates from local merchants. Raffle tickets are just $1 each or 6 for $5, with the raffle drawing held at 3 PM. Come enjoy a day of art, creativity, shopping, and community fun!
4. Tiny Toes & The Jazz Crew
When: Saturday, August 1st at 10 AM
Where: Southampton History Museum, 17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton
East End Jazz presents “Tiny Toes & The Jazz Crew,” a unique multi-generational jazz experience for ages 1 to 99, on Saturday, July 11th at the Southampton History Museum. Featuring two morning performances at 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM, this interactive 60-minute concert transforms childhood favorites into high-energy jazz arrangements, blending nursery rhymes with 1940s bebop and the Great American Songbook. Led by bassist and East End Jazz Director Iris Ornig, the five-piece band invites families and jazz lovers to sing, dance, feel the beat, and experience the joy of live music together. Admission is free, but RSVP is required—don’t forget your blanket!
5. All That Jazz: The Songs of Kander & Ebb

Join the Port Washington Play Troupe for a fun-filled evening of music featuring the iconic songs of Kander & Ebb! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and head to the John Philip Sousa Bandshell at Sunset Park in Port Washington. Enjoy some of your favorite tunes at this FREE event on Saturday, August 1 at 7 PM or Sunday, August 2 at 3 PM. Don’t miss it!
6. The Liberty Clipper
