1. Historic Sag Harbor

Where: Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, 200 MAIN St. Sag Harbor, NY
William Garrett Howard (1857-1915) moved to Sag Harbor in 1881 and spent the next several decades photographing the people and places of his adopted village. Howard’s original photographic glass plates were unknown – lost for over 100 years – until being stumbled upon in an old barn during the summer of 2020 by Randy Kolhoff, owner of Black Swan Antiques. Kolhoff has spent the last three years laboriously cleaning and restoring the glass plates so that modern digital copies can be made, revealing Howard’s astonishingly beautiful and historically important images.
2. Caribbean Festival & Craft Fair

3. Commack Volunteer Ambulance 5K Run/Walk
When: Saturday, August 12th At 9 AM
Where: Sawmill Intermediate School, 103 New Highway, Commack, NY 11725
The Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corp is a volunteer, not-for-profit community ambulance service that provides pre-hospital emergency care and transportation to the residents covering the Commack area, as well as parts of Hauppauge, Smithtown, Elwood, and East Northport for over 50 years.
4. Linda Ronstadt – A Woman And Her Music

The music and artistry of Linda Ronstadt is re-lived in this performance byBlu Bayou. Enjoy an exciting live music retrospective of one of the legendary trailblazers of rock – up close and personal. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for a fun summer evening of music and memories.
5. Janis Joplin Experience
When: Sunday, August 13th At 5 PM

6. Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival
When: Sunday, August 13th At 6 PM
Where: Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church, 2429 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, NY
The season comes to a rousing close with British flair. Another of BCM’s commissions, Kevin Puts’s Seven Seascapes, opens the program before we travel to the cliffs of Dover for Thomas Adés’s “O’Albon” and we end the season with the first BCM performance of Elgar’s gorgeous Piano Quintet.
