Enjoy delicious treats from All Round Foods, refreshing watermelon slices, and Waterloo Sparkling Water. The race starts at 9:00 AM, rain or shine, with a FREE Kiddie Fun Run at 8:30 AM. The event will be held at Blydenburgh County Park Campground Playground, Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, NY 11788. Be sure to arrive before 8:00 AM to avoid parking fees. Come run, have fun, and enjoy the sweetest race of the summer!
2. 31st Annual Stony Brook Film Festival

Where: Staller Center for the Arts, 100 Nicolls Rd, Stony Brook, NY
Now in its 31st year, the Stony Brook Film Festival celebrates the best in independent cinema from around the world over ten exciting days. Enjoy compelling films, talented performances, and appearances by both rising stars and familiar faces. Each feature film is paired with a short film, with many screenings followed by live Q&As featuring directors, actors, producers, and crew. Attendees can also vote for their favorite films, with the winners announced during the Closing Night Awards Ceremony.
3. 2026 Children's Summer Entertainment

Where: NYS Parks, Recreation & Historical Preservation, 625 Belmont Ave, NY
The 2026 Children’s Summer Entertainment program invites families to enjoy a variety of free, fun, and interactive shows and activities at state parks throughout Long Island. Presented by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation in partnership with the Natural Heritage Trust and sponsored by NY Life, the program offers exciting summer entertainment for children and families. A vehicle use fee may apply, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. Please note that performances will not have rain dates.
4. Shakespeare Fair

5. Improvised Grooves & Dance

Where: Conklin Barn, 2 High Street, Huntington, NY
Join Milk House Studio at the Conklin Barn for an unforgettable night of live improvised world music! Come hang out, enjoy the show, and dance the night away. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 7:30 PM.
6. Posh Pets Rescue Summer Bingo Blast
