Celebrate 36 years of fall fun at the White Post Farms Fall Farm Festival, Long Island’s original Fall Farm Festival! Enjoy pumpkin picking, family photo opportunities, and a scenic hayride through the cornfields. The whole family can also enjoy six exciting live performances, including the hilarious Pork Chop Revue, the interactive Barnyard Bash Dance Party, the amazing Canine Stars stunt dogs, and two fun-filled magic shows featuring comedy, audience participation, and plenty of surprises.
2. Spooky Fall Floral Frenzy Workshop
When: Every Friday and Saturday through November 15
Where: Floreum & Flame, 145 Merrick Ave North, Merrick, NY
It’s Fall Season! Get into the fall spirit and let your creativity shine at our festive workshop! Decorate your home or create something fun to wear by choosing from a variety of fall-inspired projects. Group A includes a witch’s hat, floral crown, headband with ears, horns or antlers, and eye masks. Group B features a spider web wreath, skull, pumpkin, or spooky/fall bouquet. Finished early and want to make another item? You can purchase an additional project during the workshop, depending on time and availability. Come create, decorate, and celebrate the season with us!

Join us for a day of celebration and history as a spectacular parade of vintage cars makes its way up East Broadway. 4. Long Island Potato Festival

The Long Island Potato Festival is a fun-filled weekend celebrating Long Island’s rich agricultural heritage! Enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, carnival rides, local vendors, a farmers market, and plenty of potato-themed fun at Farmingdale State College. Kids will love the “Tots” area featuring touch-a-truck and touch-a-tractor experiences, while the whole family can enjoy farm experiences, games, and more. It’s a perfect day out for food, fun, and family!
5. Superheroes for Child Care 5K & Kids' Fun Run

Be a Hero for Children and Families! Join the Child Care Council of Nassau (CCCN) for the Superheroes for Child Care 5K & Kids’ Fun Run at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. Whether you’re an experienced runner, casual walker, or simply cheering on loved ones, your participation helps support CCCN’s mission to strengthen early childhood education and child care throughout Nassau County.
6. Under the Sea Sensory Treasure Hunt
