1. 2023 Summer Concerts at Lakeside Theatre

When: August 24th at 8 PM

Where: Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater, Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY

Enjoy the last few days of Summer at this fun summer concert event at Lakeside Theater! Watch, sing and dance as everyone gears up for a fun night of music! 2. Farmingdale Craft Fair

When: Aug 26, 2023 through Aug 27, 2023

Where: Main Street, 361 Main St, Farmingdale, NY

The home of New York’s most popular vendors! Browse through the many booths that showcase outdoor art craft gift and street fairs! There are plenty of Holiday crafts and gifts you can buy at the Framingdale Craft Fair. Try your hand and make your own crafts at the fair! There’s plenty of choices for everyone. See you there!

3. WMHO 33rd Annual Scarecrow Competition

When: Aug 24, 2023 through Oct 26, 2023 (daily)

Where: Stony Brook Village Center, 111 Main Street, Stony Brook, NY

This October, scarecrows will once again line the walkways throughout Stony Brook Village in the Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s 33rd Annual Scarecrow Competition! Register as an individual, group or professional and create a scarecrow masterpiece. First place winners will receive a cash prize. Registration and entry fee of $30 due by Wednesday, September 20th. Vote for your favorite scarecrows between September 30th and October 25th.

4. Port Jefferson Greek Festival

When: Aug 24, 2023 through Aug 27, 2023 (daily)

Where: Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption, 430 Sheep Pasture Road, Port Jefferson, NY

It’s a weekend of fun at the Annual Greek Festival with carnival rides, food, dessert, live music, vendors, raffles and more! Bring your family and friends and enjoy all the festivities at the Greek Festival. There’ll be plenty of choices for a fun day at the event. You don’t want to miss this! See you there!

5. Comedy Night at Harmony Vineyards

When: Saturday, August 26th at 8 PM

Where: Harmony Vineyards, 169 Harbor Rd. St. James, NY

It will be a night of laughter and fun at Harmony Vineyards! Stand-up comedy on our vineyard terrace at Harmony Vineyards! With Headliner John Ziegler featuring Mike Toohey with Billy Geyer and host Tim Thomson. Ticket price includes admission and one drink. Don’t miss the fun!
