1. Rachelle Krieger Art Exhibit

The Port Washington Public Library is pleased to present a solo exhibition by local artist Rachelle Krieger in The Adler Gallery. Featuring 15 recent works from her ongoing series Day Dreams and Night Visions, the exhibition includes both large-scale canvases and more intimate paintings. Highlighted among the works is Night Garden and Fireflies II, a mixed-media piece in acrylic, spray paint, oilbar, and oil on linen, in which Krieger transforms garden forms, foliage, and light into a luminous, dreamlike landscape that gently bridges realism and abstraction.

 

 

 

 


2. East Meets West Jazz Jam Session

When: Sunday, January 4th at 2 PM
Where: Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton, NY

East End Jazz, in collaboration with the Southampton Cultural Center (SCC), proudly presents the return of the East Meets West Jazz Jam Session on Sunday, January 4th, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton, NY. This month’s session showcases a special multi-generational lineup of powerhouse musicians honoring the legacy of the world’s most iconic saxophone players. The afternoon will begin with a featured band performing legendary compositions from the greatest saxophonists of all time, setting the tone for an inspiring celebration of jazz history and community.

7. Artist Closet Clean-out

The Atelier is excited to present our limited Artist Closet Clean-Out Exhibition, showcasing artworks by the Atelier’s talented students and instructors. This special exhibition invites our artists to clear their easels and closets and select a few pieces to display in a curated, time-limited show. All submitted works must be priced under $500 and measure 18×24 or smaller, with no submission fee. The deadline for artwork submission is Tuesday, January 6th—don’t miss this opportunity to share your work with the Atelier community.
