Dive into the vibrant wildlife of the Long Island Sound and unleash your creativity with recycled materials in this engaging, self-guided activity. Craft your own unique representation of the Sound’s diverse creatures and contribute your masterpiece to our inspiring “Earth Day is Every Day” display. 4. The Rainbow Run 5K

When: Saturday, June 22nd at 9 AM
Where: Eisenhower Park – Field 2, Parking Lot 2, East Meadow, NY

Join the community for a prideful run at Eisenhower Park in support of PFY, a division of the Long Island Crisis Center, dedicated to “creating success through pride.” This event not only raises awareness but also brings everyone together for a meaningful cause. 5. NEW Sunday Sessions!

When: Every Sunday through October 06 at 1 PM
Where: The Coop Nashville Kitchen Bar & Lounge, 342 Main St Farmingdale, Farmingdale, NY

Starting May 19th, The Coop in Farmingdale will host Sunday Sessions, featuring live music every week from 1-4 PM. 6. Katie’s Run 5K | 2mi Fun Run/Walk | Children’s Fun Run

When: Sunday, June 23rd at 9 AM
Where: New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, NY

Katie’s Run, hosted by the Katie McBride Foundation, is a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring the memory of Katie and supporting families affected by childhood leukemia and other life-threatening diseases. The primary goal is to pay tribute to Katie while raising crucial funds and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro and its family support services. Participants who register online will receive a performance t-shirt, and all 5K racers will benefit from chip timing and personalized bibs if registered by June 2nd. After the race, join us in Memorial Park for a Post-Race BBQ Celebration featuring live entertainment. Children can enjoy a FREE Fun Run in the park after the main event, with no registration required.
