6. 4-Leaf Clover 5K Trail Run/Walk & FREE Kiddie Clover Fun Run

Where: Bethpage State Park - "Polo at the Park", Bethpage State Park Playground, Old Bethpage, NY

Celebrate St. Patrick’s season with a little luck on the trail at this festive 5K race! Taking place on March 8, 2026 at Bethpage State Park, runners can try their luck on a beautiful course and earn a special good luck clover shirt. The morning kicks off with the FREE Kiddie Clover Fun Run at 9:30 AM, followed by the 5K race at 10 AM. After crossing the finish line, reward yourself with delicious goodies from All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Legend has it this might just be the luckiest race of the year—and participants 21+ can even enjoy a FREE beer (ID required)! The event will be held rain or shine at the Polo at the Park site. Parking is available at the Bethpage State Park Playground lot—simply drive down Bethpage State Park Picnic Polo Road, pass the toll booth, and look for the lot on the left before walking up to the polo field.
