Experience one of the last remaining ACTUAL live psychedelic 1960’s-style liquid light shows in the NY area. certain Sunday nights. It’s free! This will be created/performed live, by some of the last artists who actually did this 50 years ago in New Yor City. They will use the original analog projection equipment, to create it by hand exactly as it was done back then. A very cool experience, in a art and music bar in Huntington Village on Long Island.
5. Jewelry Making Classes
When: Every day except Tuesdays until September 30
Where: Pelletreau Shop, 80 Main Street, Southampton, NY
Work with our Artist in Residence Alyssa Saccente to develop your skills in metalsmithing, and maybe even develop a lifelong passion along the way! The courses are packaged into 1, 2, 3, or 4 2-hour sessions that can be booked as one-on-one with the artist, or as a partner session. The workshops increase in skill and difficulty as you gain hand and eye skills in design, material, technique, and craftsmanship. By the end of the sessions, the student will have a finished piece of wearable sterling silver jewelry to take home with them as a memento of their experience.
