Fair Housing Notice
Everyone deserves a fair shot at the home they want.
The Haydon Team is committed to equal housing opportunity. We follow federal, New York State, and local fair housing laws, and we serve every client with the same respect, care, and professionalism.
New York State Fair Housing Notice
New York law requires real estate licensees to make the Department of State’s Housing and Anti-Discrimination Notice available. You can read the official notice here:
- New York State Housing and Anti-Discrimination Notice (NYS Department of State)
- New York State Fair Housing Notice (PDF), as posted by our brokerage, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Realty Connect
- New York State Housing and Anti-Discrimination Disclosure Form (DOS-2156)
- Notice of Tenants’ Rights to Reasonable Accommodations for Persons with Disabilities (NYS Division of Human Rights)
Standardized Operating Procedures
New York law requires real estate brokerages to publish their standardized operating procedures for prospective homebuyers, including whether identification, an exclusive broker agreement, or mortgage pre-approval is required. You can read our brokerage’s procedures here:

Our commitment
It is illegal to discriminate in the sale, rental, or financing of housing. Under federal and New York State law, protected characteristics include race, creed, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, military status, age, disability, marital status, familial status, lawful source of income, and status as a victim of domestic violence, among others.
We will never steer buyers or renters toward or away from any neighborhood, and we will not accept a listing or follow instructions that would limit who can buy or rent a home based on a protected characteristic.
Reasonable accommodations
If you have a disability and need an accommodation to work with us, such as information in another format or help with an appointment, please let us know. We are happy to help.
