3. Kids Fun Fest

Vendors from all over Long Island and the Tri-State area will be in attendance selling custom, personalized, ONE-OF-A-KIND items. Food, Drinks & Sweets will also be available for purchase.
4. Seining with SOFO

Where: Foster Memorial Beach, 1000 Noyack-Long Beach Rd, Sag Harbor, NY
Join us for an exciting adventure at the Sag Harbor shoreline where we will together pull a seine net to collect marine animals that inhabit the waters of the near-shore, scalloped-out, portion of the Shelter Island Sound. Will you get up close to crustaceans or finfish or both? Only one way to find out! Get in your bathing suit, put on your water shoes, and meet up at the water’s edge!
5. Young Birders Club Meeting

Where: South Fork Natural History Museum, 377 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton
Birding is a great way to make new friends, learn about the environment, and get outdoors. Join our Young Birders Club! The Club meets at 10 AM on the third Saturday or Sunday of every month and is open to anyone ages 8 to 18 who is interested in learning about birds. Since Long Island has many great habitats that are home to a wide variety of species, we concentrate on birding in local areas.
6. Lobster & Chicken BBQ
When: Sunday, August 20th at 3 PM
Where: Riverhead Elks Lodge, 1239 East Main St., Riverhead, NY
The Riverhead Elks Lodge is hosting a highly anticipated event, their annual Lobster & Chicken BBQ. This event promises to be a fantastic gathering filled with delicious food and enjoyable entertainment. The festivities are set to begin at 4 pm, kicking off an evening of excitement and camaraderie.
