3. Photo Exhibit: People Kaleidoscope

This photo exhibit highlights a collection of portraits of people Laura Toledo met during her travels through the American continent, Europe, and Africa. From local characters, street performers, and street vendors to kids playing. Each picture represents a story or a moment in time that gave meaning to her trips.
4. Museum Adventure Activity: Polar Explorers
When: Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through March 31
Where: Whaling Museum & Education Center of CSH, 301 Main Street, Cold Spring Harbor, NY
Discover the wonders of the Arctic in this self-guided activity. Hunt for clues and solve puzzles throughout the museum as you follow in the footsteps of early polar explorers. Learn about their incredible journeys and the amazing creatures they discovered along the way. Decorate your own compass box (with working compass!) to take home for your own adventures. Ages 6+. No registration.
5. Broadway Babies Class-Parent and Me
When: Saturday, January 27th at 10AM
Where: The Learning Experience, 284 Indian Head Rd, Kings Park NY
Looking for something to keep your little ones busy on the weekend? Want to support a good cause while meeting other parents and children? The Learning Experience in Kings Park is hosting a mommy and me class with Drama With Your Mama. We are asking for a $25 donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation to help grant a wish for a critically ill child. Drama with Your Mama aims to engage the youngest performers, building confidence and skill through acting, music and dance. Taught by theater professionals who are also moms, our class uses a variety of activities including live music, storytelling and imaginative play to create a safe, fun and warm atmosphere for both parents and their little stars.
