Join us rain or shine for a fun and educational box turtle conservation event at Sweetbriar! Guests will learn about the importance of protecting local box turtles through a presentation, meet some of our resident non-releasable turtles, and help search the fields as we examine and tag turtles when needed. A craft activity will also be available for children to enjoy. Please come prepared with a water bottle, sunblock, long pants, and closed-toe shoes, as we will be walking through tall grasses where ticks may be present. We will meet behind the main house. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with nature and support local wildlife conservation.
