1. Holiday Tree Competition

Where: Stony Brook Village Center, 111 Main Street, Stony Brook, NY
On Sunday, December 3, participants of the Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s (WMHO) Holiday Tree Competition will bring holiday cheer to Stony Brook Village and decorate 40 premium balsam trees that will line the open-air center’s walkways at the 44th Annual Holiday Festival. One tree will be selected by votes from the public between Sunday, December 3 and Tuesday, December 19th to win a $150 gift certificate to Stony Brook Village and its establishments. Registration for this event is required as there are only 40 trees available.
2. Holiday Lights Festival

3. Crafts, Music and Beer Weekend Events

Get ready for a weekend packed with Music, Beers, and Art at Devoshion’s Drafts & Crafts event! On Friday, November 10th, join us for an electrifying performance by “The MOR TOP 40s BAND,” belting out your favorite ROCK HITS from 7 pm to 10 pm. On Saturday, November 11th, the “School of Rock” kicks off at 1:00 pm, promising a day of musical excitement. Cap off the weekend on Sunday, November 12th, as you MEET The Devoshion MAKERS showcasing their craft. Witness the magic behind our beautiful handcrafted items, including hand-painted glasses and bottles, jewelry crafting, wood sign making, bow and wreath design, yarn art, and more, starting at 11:00 am. 4. Bob Ross Paint Night for Kids
When: Saturday, November 11th at 2 PM
Where: Port Jefferson Country Club, 44 Fairway Drive, Port Jefferson, NY
Welcoming all kids 7 plus to comp paint with us in the Bob Ross style. You will be guided by Sandy Evans, a certified Bob Ross painting instructor. Trained to teach Landscapes, seascapes, floral, and Still lives. No prior experience is required, this is a step-by-step process. All material is included in the fee.
5. An Evening with John Legend
When: Saturday, November 11th at 8:30 PM
Where: Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, 720 Northern Blvd, Brookville, NY
This special solo performance will feature songs and stories with 12-time GRAMMY winner John Legend.
