Featuring some favorite activities and some new ones too! NEW 20ft rock wall, 24 ft slide, obstacle course + new bouncers! Tie-dye station, petting zoo, puppy adoption, family photographer! NEW KIDDIE ZONE featuring- preschool bouncers and a mini carousel, plus crowd favorite the soft toddler play zone!! CARNIVAL GAMES! Win a gold fish! Spin the wheel! Ride a pony or pick a pumpkin! Have your face painted while enjoying cotton candy, burgers and baked treats! + beer and wine available!

2. Spooky Fest

When: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 29
Where: Tanglewood Preserve, 1 Tanglewood Rd, Rockville Centre, NY

“Spooky Fest,” presented by The Center for Science, is an exciting and eagerly anticipated event that takes place every weekend in October. This event is a delightful celebration of the Halloween season, offering a wide range of activities and attractions suitable for families of all ages. At its core, Spooky Fest is designed to provide a family-friendly experience that combines the spirit of Halloween with the wonder of science and discovery. The event is organized and hosted by The Center for Science, an institution dedicated to promoting education, exploration, and engagement with the world of science.

3. Princess Tea Party

When: Saturday, October 14th at 1PM
Where: Ballet Long Island, 1863 Pond Rd, Ronkonkoma, NY

Princess Tea Parties are for young and old. Moms bring your daughters; ladies bring your friends! Dress up in your royal best. First you will see a ballet performance on stage with some of your favorite Princesses. Then we give you time to take your own photos with your little princess or prince and the performer Princesses. Next you are served tea, lemonade, cupcakes and cookies. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All Proceeds from theses performances support our Scholarship Fund and Master Teacher Fund.

4. (mostly) TRUE THINGS – true stories with a twist

When: Saturday, October 14th at 7PM
Where: The Performing Arts Studio, 224 E. Main St. Port Jefferson, NY

Get ready to laugh, cry, and be captivated by real-life tales shared by talented storytellers. (mostly) TRUE THINGS promises to entertain and inspire. But it is also a game! Three of the stories include subtle little lies. You get to question the storytellers, then vote for the person you think had no lies. There are prizes involved, (if you can believe that).

 

 

5. Paws Walk 2023

When: Saturday, October 14th at 8 AM
Where: Belmont Lake State Park, 625 Belmont Ave. West Babylon, NY

Join us for a paw-some gathering as we come together to support a great cause – Baxter’s Pet Pantry. We understand that no one should ever have to make the heart-wrenching choice between putting food on their table or feeding their beloved furry companions. That’s why we’re hosting this fur-riendly event, and we’d love to have you there! At this event, we encourage you to bring a non-perishable pet food item as your entry ticket. Your generous contribution will go a long way in ensuring that pets in need receive the nourishment they deserve, allowing their owners to provide for themselves without sacrificing their pets’ well-being.

6. Christmas in October
