The “725 Art Show,” originally conceived by the late Elinor and Bob McDade, is an annual exhibit celebrating the creativity of Sag Harbor’s resident artists, with “725” referring to the village’s original telephone exchange. Initially held at the Goat Alley Gallery on the corner of Henry and Division Streets, the show became a beloved local tradition. In 2018, the exhibit moved to the Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum, where it was curated by Museum staff member Michael A. Butler.
