1. Mashashimuet Park Friends and Family 5K Run/Walk

When: Sunday, September 10th at 10:30 PM

Where: Mashashimuet Park, Main St and Jermain Avenue, Sag Harbor

Please join us for a scenic running tour through the beautiful village of Sag Harbor. This USATF certified route takes you past cherished properties that played prominent roles in the life of our benefactress, Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage. These historical sites now play prominent roles in the lives of all Sag Harbor residents and visitors. Starting within the crown jewel of the village, Mashashimuet Park, runners will traverse the village streets passing such iconic landmarks and institutions including Otter Pond, The Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, The John Jermain Memorial Library and Pierson High School. Local musicians and bands will provide entertainment along the way to keep you motivated, as you head back into Mashashimuet Park to the finish line.

2. Nesconset Day Street Fair

When: Sunday, September 10th at 10 AM

Where: Gazebo Park, 148 Smithtown Blvd. Nesconset, NY 11767

Join us for a day of fun, food, and festivities at Nesconset Day! On September 10th, Gazebo Park comes alive with the Nesconset Day Street Fair, offering something for everyone in the family. Nesconset Day promises a day filled with laughter, shopping, mouthwatering cuisine, and entertainment. Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on this fantastic community event!

3. Food Truck Festival

When: Sunday, September 10th at 11 AM

Where: Fireman’s Park, 555 Heling Blvd., Lindenhurst , NY

Support our fireman troops with their first annual food truck festival. Food, music, activities for kids and more are what awaits you at this fun event. Mouth-watering food trucks with different varieties of food will be available for everyone to enjoy! All proceeds of the event will be donated to benefit 9-1-1 Veterans. The event is sponsored by a small non-profit group that offers emergency financial assistance to Veterans across Suffolk and Nassau County. See you there!

4. Family Fun Day

When: Sunday, September 10th at 2 PM

Where: The Ballet Center, 1863 Pond Rd, Ronkonkoma, NY

 

Join us for a day of fun, treats, performances, Princesses and more at our Family Fun Day at the Ballet Center. Enjoy free performances, face painting, games, free food and more! There will also be an open Audition for Elf Jr. The Musical that will be showcased in the theater soon. Get to tour the studio, meet the ballet instructors, and even try a free dance class! Bring the entire family. All are welcome.

5. Long Island Fair

When: September 8 – 10, 2023
