2. The 45th Annual Long Beach Biathlon
When: Saturday, July 19th at 8:30 AM
Where: National Blvd, 1 Riverside Blvd, Long Beach, NY
Join us for the 45th Annual Long Beach Biathlon, an exciting beachfront event for all ages! The Adult Race features a 3-mile run along the sand starting at National Blvd., followed by a 300-yard ocean swim. Teens can test their endurance with a 1-mile beach run and 150-yard swim, while children enjoy a fun ½-mile run and a 50-yard shallow swim. All participants will receive a free T-shirt (while supplies last), plus live, text, and email results, and free finish line photos to capture the moment. Don’t miss this Long Beach tradition!
3. Comedy Night at the Seaport Diner

7. 30th Annual Stony Brook Film Festival

The Stony Brook Film Festival returns for ten exciting days of independent film premieres, running from July 17–26 at the Staller Center’s Main Stage Theatre, Stony Brook University. Most screenings include in-person Q&A sessions with filmmakers, directors, cast, and crew, offering unique insights into the creative process.
