Come on down and “Stroll the Bazaar” at the East Northport Festival on Saturday & Sunday, September 6 & 7, along Larkfield Road from Pulaski Road to Kew Avenue. This lively outdoor market stretches 800 feet and features 80 talented artisans and unique vendors showcasing their one-of-a-kind creations. From hand-crafted wooden cutting boards, tie-dye, and handmade jewelry to moonshine, crochet plushies, banana bread, hair bows, honey, and so much more — there’s something for everyone to discover. The Bazaar is a highlight of the annual East Northport Festival, a weekend-long celebration filled with shopping, fun, and community spirit!

3. New Art Exhibition

ECHOES OF ABSTRACTION is a cross-cultural exhibition celebrating the evolution of Abstract Art, featuring works by Long Island artists past and present. Tracing the movement from its emergence in the 1940s to today, the exhibition showcases pieces from eighty distinguished artists, offering a dynamic dialogue across generations and styles. Presented by the New York Fine Arts Society, The Rivol Collection, and the Chinese Overseas Artists Association, the exhibition will be on view at the Society’s Flowerfield Gallery in St. James. The public is warmly invited to the opening reception on Friday, August 15 at 5:00 PM.

6. Hauppauge Fire Department 5K Run/Walk

Join us for an unforgettable race day experience filled with exciting perks and fun for all participants! Enjoy post-race stretching provided by Professional Physical Therapy to help you recover, and keep the celebration going with live music from the Mixtape band. The first 200 registrants will receive a commemorative race T-shirt, and everyone can take advantage of live, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks in advance.
