2. St. John’s FOOD TRUCK Festival

When: Saturday, May 18th at 12 PM
Where: St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church, 77 Montauk Highway, Blue Point, NY

Join the fun at St. John’s Food Truck Festival! This exciting event features a diverse range of cuisines from various food trucks, ensuring there’s something delicious for everyone to enjoy. Alongside the culinary delights, there will be live music to keep the atmosphere lively and entertaining. For the younger attendees, face painting will be available, adding a splash of color and creativity to their day. 3. Mother’s Day Wine and Chocolate Pairing

Where: Jason’s Vineyard, 1785 Main Road, Jamesport, NY

Treat your mom, or wife, to a special experience as we pair delicious, locally grown wines from the vineyard with decadent chocolates hand crafted by Dissett Chocolates. It’s the perfect way to show your appreciation for all that she does! Relax in the beautiful vineyard setting, savoring indulgent desserts and wine, then take a tour of the vineyard in the enchanting moonlight. We will then join our wine host, Thomas Mastrianni from Wine and Dine with Mastro, as he takes our senses on a wonderful rollercoaster, teasing all five of our senses through pairings. End the evening while we join our host for open discussion on the porch- weather permitting, while creating lasting memories with your loved ones. 4. Paper Flower Workshop

When: Sunday, May 19th at 4 PM
Where: BAFFA Art Gallery, 47 Gillette Avenue, Sayville, NY

On Sunday, May 19, Casey Cunningham will present a Paper Flower Workshop at the BAFFA Art Gallery in Sayville. Sponsored by the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts, the workshop is open to the general public as well as BAFFA members. Participants will see a demonstration of the craft, learn the process, and will take home a paper flower. Cost is $20.00 for BAFFA members and $25.00 for non-members.

6. Tree-planting Event!

Join us for the Nassau County Tree-Planting Event, an inspiring initiative hosted by GreenShare, a dedicated high school-led nonprofit.
